Dendrell comes from the Greek word for tree — "dendro" and the Catalan word for brain — "cervell". The name reflects our values: growth, interconnectedness, and resilience. It also carries inspiration from elven names, which influence both our aesthetic and identity. Our logo, a tree whose branches resemble the structure of a mind, symbolizes the harmony between nature, creativity, and technology.

We believe in the power of open source and community-driven development. We are committed to creating software that is free and open for everyone to use, learn from, and contribute to.
